Attaind is the trade name of Malaiya Trading B.V., registered in the Netherlands. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data with transparency.

We collect the minimum data necessary to deliver our publication:

  • Email address — when you subscribe to our digest or essays.
  • Payment information — if you choose a paid subscription, processed securely through our payment provider. We do not store payment details on our servers.
  • Usage data — anonymous analytics to understand how readers engage with our content (pages visited, time on site). We do not use invasive tracking or sell this data.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively to:

  • Deliver the weekly digest and essay notifications to your inbox.
  • Process subscription payments.
  • Improve the quality and relevance of our content.
  • Communicate important updates about the service.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Ever.

We use a limited number of trusted services to operate Attaind:

  • Vercel — hosting and content delivery.
  • Sanity — content management.
  • Payment processor — for handling paid subscriptions securely.

Each of these services has its own privacy policy and is bound by data processing agreements in accordance with applicable law.

4. Cookies

Attaind uses only essential cookies required for the Site to function properly. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. If we introduce analytics, we will use privacy-respecting tools that do not track individuals across sites.

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS).

8. Children

Attaind is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
